Job Description

In this role, your responsibilities include overall responsibility for on-site service job execution and completion with customer satisfaction. You will ensure executing services in accordance with Emerson Standard procedures and within the specified time schedule. It is essential to prepare detailed site visit reports/MOM and obtain signed-off approval from the customer after the completion of each job. Additionally, promptly responding to customer queries and complaints, escalating when necessary, and ensuring corrective actions are taken by both your organization and the customer's organization is crucial. You must ensure that Emerson Quality Management System and Procedures/Work Instructions are followed, and standards are maintained. Providing technical assistance and support to the Project/Engineering department on-demand basis is also part of your role. It is important to stay updated on new services and products offered by Emerson Flow System, maintain technical awareness of new technology, and share knowledge with the service team members. Providing installation, commissioning, AMC, and ARC service support and keeping the AMC/ARC calendar up to date are also key responsibilities. Keeping service visit data, including product configuration backups, up-to-date on the server for various service calls is essential. You are an active learner who views both success and failure as learning opportunities. Building partnerships and fostering collaborative work to achieve the team's set objectives are integral to your work ethic. You must be able to take quick and critical actions in constantly fast-paced and unexpected situations. For this role, you will need knowledge of Flow Metering System, work experience on products like Flow Meter, GC, Flow Computer, Control Valve, PLC, HMI, etc. Detailed knowledge of Gas and Liquid Analytical Systems along with Sample handling and supporting systems is required. Work experience with products such as Gas Analyzers, Liquid analyzers, Steam and Water Analysis System (SWAS), GC, Sample Handling System, Gas Detectors, Digital communication protocols, CEMS, Shelter and Logic, HVAC, and a brief understanding of Refinery process, Power Plant process, etc., is also necessary. Preferred qualifications that set you apart include a Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Instrumentation Engineering with a minimum of 2-4 years of work experience. Experience with Flow Metering System for the Oil & Gas Industry and Analyzer System is preferred.
