In this role, your responsibilities include overall responsibility for on-site service job execution and completion with customer satisfaction. You will ensure executing services in accordance with Emerson Standard procedures and within the specified time schedule. It is essential to prepare detailed site visit reports/MOM and obtain signed-off approval from the customer after the completion of each job. Additionally, promptly responding to customer queries and complaints, escalating when necessary, and ensuring corrective actions are taken by both your organization and the customer's organization is crucial. You must ensure that Emerson Quality Management System and Procedures/Work Instructions are followed, and standards are maintained. Providing technical assistance and support to the Project/Engineering department on-demand basis is also part of your role. It is important to stay updated on new services and products offered by Emerson Flow System, maintain technical awareness of new technology, and share knowledge with the service team members. Providing installation, commissioning, AMC, and ARC service support and keeping the AMC/ARC calendar up to date are also key responsibilities. Keeping service visit data, including product configuration backups, up-to-date on the server for various service calls is essential. For this role, you will need knowledge of Flow Metering System, work experience on products like Flow Meter, GC, Flow Computer, Control Valve, PLC, HMI, etc. Detailed knowledge of Gas and Liquid Analytical Systems along with Sample handling and supporting systems is required. Work experience with products such as Gas Analyzers, Liquid analyzers, Steam and Water Analysis System (SWAS), GC, Sample Handling System, Gas Detectors, Digital communication protocols, CEMS, Shelter and Logic, HVAC, and a brief understanding of Refinery process, Power Plant process, etc., is also necessary. Preferred qualifications that set you apart include a Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Instrumentation Engineering with a minimum of 2-4 years of work experience. Experience with Flow Metering System for the Oil & Gas Industry and Analyzer System is preferred. Role & responsibilities Job Summary: Responsible for leading the Project Software Engineering Design, Configuration and Testing of Metering Skid - Software Packages based on customer specifications, proposal BID in alignment with internal standards. Coordinate with E&I functional teams for equalization of interrelated work. According to priority and deadlines. Responsible for Complete Project Work in given time / schedule with acceptable quality. In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Experience in Liquid or GAS, Fiscal / Custody Transfer Metering. Familiar with design work processes and has completed design packages Being able to efficiently communicate findings through reports and presentations. Experience on Flow computers and Flow Metering Skid SW packages Intermediate hands-on Experience on ABB, AB, Siemens, Schneider PLC / SCADA, HMI, Batch Controllers/ Truck or Ship Loading / Unloading Controllers, OPC Communication Hands on Experience of S600+, OMNI (Flow Computer) and Emerson DeltaV based Metering Flow Generate Reports in customer required formats and Units of measurement. Good understanding of Level 3 network, Cyber Security, Backup and Restore, Patch Management Test Flow Skid Packages, serial communications on Modbus TCP/IP or Modbus RTU / ASCII and simulate Field Signals, Fault Finding and suggest remedies in case of technical solutions. If you are a Project Engineer Specialist, Emerson has an exciting role for you! We are looking for an Instrumentation Project Engineer to work for our Pressure Management Business unit at Mahindra World City, Chengalpattu. You will need to have good knowledge and skills in skid assembly, electrical wiring, instrumentation, AGA codes, and meeting customer/project technical specifications. Your responsibilities will include liaising with third parties on testing the skids and obtaining approvals/clearance. You will also be analyzing drawing, GAD, P&ID inspection techniques, control plans, and quality plans. Your responsibilities will involve having a good knowledge of ISO standards, expertise in reading P&ID, ISO drawings, and GAD as defined by the design team or customer. Experience in understanding engineering documents and datasheets is required. You should be able to read loop diagrams, PLCs, and wiring diagrams for instruments. Knowledge of instrument hook-up drawings, MTO preparation, cable schedules, JB schedules, and various instrument items is essential. Additionally, you should possess validated knowledge in items like gauges, transmitters, control valves, switches, flow meters, flow computers, EVC, cables, positioners, cable trays, and instrument fittings. You will be responsible for inspecting and verifying electrical wiring as per approved drawings, educating assembly operators and electricians with approved drawings, wiring diagrams, etc. Tender reading, document preparation, RFQs, reviewing offers, coordinating with vendors, entering part codes, uploading BOM to Oracle, and closing punch points are part of your duties. You will work closely with internal team members, suppliers, and customers throughout the Skid Execution, Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), and Commissioning process. Submitting the dossier to customers promptly is also expected. To succeed in this role, you should have a good knowledge of reading P&ID diagrams and instrumentation diagrams, expertise in flow computers, PLCs, problem-solving techniques, and proficiency in basic computer skills for report preparation. Being able to work independently, lead instrument functions, maintain detail error on TPI zero, and minimize nonconformance during in-house production and testing are essential. Preferred qualifications include a BE in Instrumentation or equivalent experience with valid experience.
