Job Title: Resident Medical Officer (RMO) Department: Gynaecology, Obstetrics, and Paediatrics Location: Maccure Hospital, Dwarka Reports To: Senior Consultant/ Medical Director Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary: The Resident Medical Officer (RMO) will provide high-quality medical care to patients in the maternity department, focusing on Gynaecology, Obstetrics, and Paediatrics. The RMO will be responsible for managing obstetric and neonatal cases, ensuring optimal patient outcomes, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities: Patient Care: Conduct comprehensive assessments of pregnant women, including physical examinations and history taking. Manage antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care for mothers and newborns. Provide care during normal and complicated deliveries, including assisting in surgical procedures when necessary. Monitor and manage the health of newborns, including those requiring special care or intervention. Clinical Duties: Perform routine obstetric procedures, including fetal monitoring, amniotomy, and episiotomies. Provide immediate care for obstetric emergencies and complications, coordinating with senior staff as required. Ensure accurate and thorough documentation of patient care and treatment plans in compliance with hospital policies. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with obstetricians, paediatricians, midwives, and nursing staff to ensure comprehensive patient care. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to review and discuss patient management plans. Education and Training: Mentor and support junior medical staff and interns in clinical skills and hospital protocols. Engage in continuous professional development through attendance at workshops, seminars, and relevant training programs. Quality Improvement: Participate in quality assurance initiatives and clinical audits to improve patient care standards. Contribute to research projects and clinical studies as needed. Qualifications: Education: Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution. Completion of a residency or internship in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Paediatrics. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a maternity hospital or relevant healthcare setting. Demonstrated experience in managing obstetric and neonatal emergencies. Skills: Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate effective teamwork and patient interaction. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and high-stress environment. Certifications: Current medical license to practice in India. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications are preferred. Working Conditions: The RMO will be required to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, based on hospital needs. Exposure to a clinical environment with potential for high-stress situations and emergency care. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month Schedule: Day shift Night shift Rotational shift Supplemental Pay: Overtime pay Work Location: In person
