Job Description

Role & responsibilities
Responsible for all the projects undertaken in bacterial expression systems.
A strong technical background in strain engineering and manipulating microbes for improved protein expression.

Excellent hands-on laboratory skillsets in molecular biology to create strategies for the construction of plasmids for over expression of proteins and/or genomic integrations of target genes in molds for obtaining high levels of protein expression.

Strong understanding on the regulation of the protein expression and secretion to develop a regulatory element screening tool kit for overexpression of homologous/heterologous proteins .

Should have basic understanding on the enzyme assays to develop high throughput screening assays for screening the strain libraries to identify the best strain producing the highest amount of functional protein of interest.

Regulatory Science: Support the regulatory science vertical for method development on production strain safety and product safety as per the regulatory authorities (EFSA, GRAS, etc..) .

Progress reports real time basis, final reports, regulatory dossiers for strain safety or product safety.

Laboratory responsibilities: General laboratory responsibility.

Preferred candidate profile

Should demonstrate good technical aptitude and should be able to work independently and in collaboration with cross-team function
Should be able to analyse the data and document in real time

MSc with 3 years to 5years work experience
