Role & responsibilities Responsible for all the projects undertaken in bacterial expression systems. A strong technical background in strain engineering and manipulating microbes for improved protein expression. Excellent hands-on laboratory skillsets in molecular biology to create strategies for the construction of plasmids for over expression of proteins and/or genomic integrations of target genes in molds for obtaining high levels of protein expression. Strong understanding on the regulation of the protein expression and secretion to develop a regulatory element screening tool kit for overexpression of homologous/heterologous proteins .
