Biotechnologist

We are seeking a talented Biotechnologist with strong conceptual foundations and practical expertise in pharmaceutical formulations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent understanding of formulation science, ingredients, and drug delivery systems, with the ability to contribute to innovative product development.

Key Requirements

Experience & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering or related fields
• 1-5 years of hands-on experience in formulation development or related areas
• Strong academic background with exceptional grasp of core biotechnology principles

Technical Expertise:

• Excellent knowledge of pharmaceutical formulations and their development
• Deep understanding of active and inactive ingredients, excipients, and their interactions
• Comprehensive knowledge of drug delivery systems (DDS) concepts and principles
• Ability to understand and contribute to DDS projects even without direct hands-on experience
• Strong foundation in pharmaceutical chemistry, biopharmaceutics, and pharmacokinetics

Core Competencies:

• Exceptional theoretical understanding of biotechnology fundamentals
• Ability to translate conceptual knowledge into practical applications
• Understanding of formulation stability, compatibility studies, and quality parameters
• Knowledge of different dosage forms (oral, parenteral, topical, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Support formulation development activities for pharmaceutical products
• Assist in ingredient selection and optimization based on scientific rationale
• Contribute to drug delivery system design and development projects
• Conduct literature reviews and stay updated on formulation technologies
• Maintain detailed documentation and technical reports
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product development initiatives
