Roles & Responsibilities

1. Understand the customer problem clearly. Explore and research on the problem space to ensure adequate understanding of the domain. 
2. Prototype rapidly, design, build mobile and deploy mobile/web applications as needed.  
3. Develop server side application and/or Integrate mobile application with REST APIs and models. 
4. Evaluate the different existing technologies, options and alternatives available for solving the problem. 
5. Understand the data, perform exploratory analysis and visualizations where needed to be able to relate to it. 
6. Follow best engineering practices and continuously integrate & test in the target environment. 
7. Interact with fellow engineers, leads, research assistants and professors, to collaboratively make progress, assess the right approach and validate the solution. 

Required Skills

• Bachelors or higher degree, in ECE, CS, or EEE disciplines with a strong programming knowledge. 

• Experience in building hybrid mobile applications using React Native or similar such technology in an agile fashion on Android/iOS.

   
• Knowledge of building and deploying with GCP or any other cloud environment is essential. 
• Programming with Python and/or JavaScript is a plus. 
• Exposure to Machine Learning / Deep Learning is desirable. 
• Ability to clearly articulate design and implementation choices. 
• Comfort with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment. 
• Problem solving attitude and curiosity to discover new ground.
