Research Associate

You will be working as an Associate in the Research Department based in Kolkata. Your primary responsibility will be to collect, summarize, and synthesize business information related to the Private Equity and Venture Capital domain. This involves profiling funds, writing management profiles, creating and updating portfolios, and tracking various PE/VC-backed transactions such as Mergers, Acquisitions, Leverage Buyouts, Management buyouts, and early and late-stage funding rounds. To excel in this role, you are required to have pursued academics or post-graduation in finance, commerce, accounting, or economics. Preferred qualifications include B.com (Hons), B.sc (Economics), M.com, B.B.A, M.B.A (Finance Major), and M.sc (Economics). It is essential to possess a strong hold over domain knowledge related to Private Equity, Debt, Venture Capital, Mergers, Acquisitions, etc. Additionally, excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary. You should be comfortable with handling targets and delivering research tasks within stringent timelines.
