Role Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting in-depth research and analysis across markets, industries, and companies to support strategic decision-making, business development, and client engagements.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys transforming complex data into meaningful insights, spotting emerging trends, and delivering actionable intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

Market Research:

  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative research on market dynamics, customer behaviour, and emerging trends in the startup ecosystem, MSME ecosystem.
  • Analyse market sizing, growth opportunities, competitive landscape, and consumer preferences.
  • Develop insightful reports, dashboards, and briefs to communicate findings.

Industry Research:

  • Track developments across multiple industries including regulatory updates, technological advancements, and economic trends.
  • Assess industry structure, value chains, key players, and investment opportunities.
  • Provide SWOT, PESTEL, and Porter s Five Forces analysis where applicable.

Company Research:

  • Conduct deep-dive analysis on target companies, including business models, financial performance, competitive positioning, and strategic initiatives.
  • Prepare company profiles, benchmarking reports, and executive summaries.
  • Monitor company news, earnings, MA activity, and leadership changes.

Qualification

  • Bachelor s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Marketing, or related field (Master s preferred).
  • 1-3 years of experience in research, consulting, or business analysis roles.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and research tools.
  • Excellent analytical, writing, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple research tasks simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
