Role Overview

Research Assistant

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and conducting qualitative and/or quantitative research
• Perform literature reviews, summarize findings, and help identify relevant data sources
• Collect, clean, and organize data using tools such as Excel, SPSS, R, Python, or survey platforms
• Prepare reports, presentations, and research summaries
• Support drafting of academic papers, grant proposals, or technical documents
• Maintain accurate and organized research documentation
• Coordinate with project teams, stakeholders, or external partners as needed
• Ensure research compliance with ethical and data protection standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Social Sciences, Economics, Public Policy, Data Science, Life Sciences)
• 0–2 years of experience in a research or analytical role (internships count)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with MS Office and familiarity with data analysis or visualization tools
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong critical thinking
• Bonus: Experience with academic publishing, statistical software, or fieldwork coordination
