Research Assistant- Robotics

Integral University (IU) is striving to excel in the field of robotics. The Integral Robotics Lab (IRL) has recently come into inception, to promote and facilitate robotics related projects. As a research assistant, your primary tasks will be to:

• Assist ongoing research projects in the field of robotics, control and machine learning

• Manage the physical space of the robotics lab

You will get hands-on experience with robotics projects ranging from everything from drone, spherical robots to robotics arm. You will work closely with the faculty and student team of the Integral Robotics Lab. It is a challenging job in a very dynamic environment. You will become a part of a culture and organization in constant rapid development, and you will have a lot of influence on this development.

Requirements

We expect that you have :

• A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in engineering

• Programming knowledge in either C or C++ or Python. Matlab/Simulink is a plus

• 2 years relevant experience in the filed of robotics

• Knowledge of electronics peripheral interfacing, such as different types of sensors, actuators, single board computers, etc.

• Knowledge of 3D Designing software, 3D printing, PCB designing is preferable but not mandatory.

• Demonstrable experience in motion planning algorithms, control algorithms, computer vision is a plus.

• High level of self-drive, energy and can-do attitude

• Excellent communications skills

• Particular interest within team formation and dynamics would be an extra plus

• Business fluent English and Hindi language skills

• Creativity, endurance, team-play, passion are a plus

• You are able to work in a team, take initiative, are result oriented and systematic
