Research Assistant

As a Research Assistant at Ikaai India Research, you will be part of a short-term field assignment focused on supporting data collection and reporting for an ongoing evaluation study in the fisheries and seafood sector. The location of the assignment includes West Bengal, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Maharashtra, and Gujarat, with a preference for candidates from coastal districts. This initial contract will be for one month, with a daily remuneration of Rs. 500 as salary and Rs. 200 as daily allowance, which includes food expenses. Travel expenditure will be reimbursed based on actuals, with modes of transportation ranging from Auto, Rickshaw, to Non-AC Bus. Candidates with two-wheelers are preferred for this role. The selected individuals must be prepared to start fieldwork from early August 2025 and should be available full-time for the entire month-long assignment.
