Research Assistant - Finance

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed equity, mutual fund, PMS, AIF, and bond research using both primary and secondary data sources (SEBI, BSE, NSE, RBI, IMF, etc.).
• Build and maintain financial models, DCF/FCF valuations, and sectoral comparison frameworks.
• Support in the development of proprietary indices (e.g., Market Valuation Index) and multi-parameter research tools.
• Track macroeconomic indicators (GDP growth, interest rates, forex reserves, commodity cycles, global flows) and prepare actionable insights.
• Prepare client-ready reports, presentations, and investment notes with high accuracy and professional formatting.
• Monitor corporate announcements, quarterly/annual reports, and regulatory filings to identify investment opportunities and risks.
• Assist in automation of research workflows using Excel, Python, or data visualization tools.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field
• Strong knowledge of Indian capital markets, mutual funds, and global investment trends.
• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills with experience in financial modeling & valuations.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and comfort with financial databases / tools (e.g., CMIE, Screener, NSE/BSE websites).
• Familiarity with Python/R or other data analytics tools is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills – ability to prepare clear, concise, and well-structured reports.
• Highly detail-oriented, research-driven, and passionate about investments.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
