Research and Development Intern (Embedded system design)

The role of a Research and Development Intern (Embedded system design) is to execute research and recognize possible solutions to develop products. You should be able to assist in building and designing a device by analyzing outcomes for product development. Your responsibilities will include designing PCB circuit boards, working on PCB testing and manufacturing, as well as working on embedded systems and programming. You will also be expected to research and identify new market opportunities, execute and interpret research for product development, and identify potential product improvements. Additionally, you will need to support implementation, understand and identify required business cases and solutions to enter specific market segments, and target certain customer segments through qualitative and quantitative analysis. You will lead the technical relationship with vendors to prototype, test, and mature components ready for mass manufacture. Qualifications and skills required for this role include a degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, hands-on experience with PCB design software, basic knowledge of electrical and electronic components, as well as lithium-ion batteries. You should possess problem-solving, innovative thinking, and reasoning skills, advanced analytical and mathematical skills, and proficiency with computer design software.
