UI/UX Design Intern

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Design to join our EV charging software product team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing user-friendly and visually compelling interfaces for both mobile and web applications, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience for EV drivers, station operators, and admins. You'll play a crucial role in shaping the product's overall look and feel while balancing user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility.

The primary role and responsibilities of a UI/UX Design Intern:

• Understand product goals, user needs, and technical constraints to design optimal user journeys.
• Design end-to-end user experiences – from research and concept sketches to wireframes, interactive prototypes, and final UI designs.
• Develop and maintain design systems and UI components for consistency across the platform.
• Conduct user interviews, usability tests, and surveys to gather insights and validate designs.
• Translate product requirements into intuitive UX flows for key modules like:
  
  • Charging Station Discovery
  • Real-time Session Tracking
  • Wallet/Payments
  • Admin Panel & Analytics Dashboard
• Work closely with frontend developers (React/Next.js) and mobile developers (React Native) to ensure pixel-perfect and responsive implementation.
• Maintain a mobile-first design approach while ensuring responsiveness across tablets and desktops.
• Stay up to date with latest UI/UX trends, tools, and best practices.
  Qualifications and Skills Required :
  
• Computer Engineering or IT Engineering (B.E./B.Tech)
• Strong command over UI/UX design tools:
  
  • Figma (preferred)
  • Adobe XD
  • Sketch

• Expertise in:
  
  • Wireframing & Interactive Prototyping
  • Design Systems and Component Libraries
  • Typography, Color Theory, Spacing, and Layout Principles
• Practical knowledge of UX Research methods like card sorting, persona creation, heuristic evaluation, etc.
• Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG), and how to design inclusive interfaces.
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS basics to collaborate better with developers.
• Time management and planning skills
