Research Analyst (options and Equity)

About the Role:

We are looking for a motivated Research Analyst to join our Research Team. The ideal candidate will not only perform detailed analysis of Indian Indexes, stocks, and derivatives but also handle client interactions and calls to provide market insights and trade recommendations. This role blends analytical expertise with strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough data-driven research and analysis on Indian companies, sectors, and market trends.
• Prepare and maintain financial models to forecast short-term market trends.
• Generate trade recommendations with internal team
• Track economic indicators, industry developments, and market movements.
• Produce detailed research reports and effectively communicate findings verbally and in writing.
• Collaborate with other analysts.
• Ensure timely and accurate information delivery to support investment decisions.
• Communicate effectively with the trading and research team regarding trade values, strategies, and execution plans.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

• Quality and accuracy of research reports.
• Timely delivery of trade recommendations.
• Contribution to alpha generation relative to index returns.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in equity research, investment analysis, or financial call handling.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in creating trade setups, algorithmic, and automated trading systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of Indian stock market, derivatives, and investment strategies.
