Purpose of the Job
Is the guardian of the As Sold Baseline, manages the configuration items from the As Required & As Specified baselines regarding Requirements Management Ensure that the management of tender and project requirements is performed as per the global RM process and methodology, thus the delivered product meets the contractual requirements Provide the necessary support and trainings to tender and project teams regarding requirements management (RM) process, methodology and tool (DOORS) to perform activities requested by the process Monitors and reports on the status of RM activities, manages the RM database and helps engineers in their RM activities Organisation Reporting Hierarchical report to Domain Leader Requirement management / Train Systems Network & Links Central Requirement Management Process & Tools teams Engineering metiersTC, TD, TE, RAMS, TV Project actorsTPM, CoD, TxE, OPE, SE, Discipline Leaders (xDL), Certification, Manufacturing, Participating Units, Procurement/Sourcing Quality Department OthersCCM, M&T, IS&T, Quality Performance Measurement/KPIs

Implements Requirement Management global processes on tender, execution contract and product development projects Acts as the guardian of the integrity of the Contracts Drives the engineers in their requirements development activities Verifies the data quality & consistency in the RM database Manages the requirements changes & configuration Contributes to RME Network For RSC, acts as the deputy to the TPM (Train Performance Manager), supporting the application of the RM process on a day-to-day basis. acts as the deputy to the TPM (Train Performance Manager), supporting the application of the Configuration Baseline Missions & Trade Off processes on a day-to-day basis maintains traceability from source requirements to supplier requirements (TPS) and the layers in between The Requirement Management Engineer (RME) Role is a project related role, i.e. the RME is assigned to 1 or multiple projects according to the complexity and the phase of the project.
Complex projects can require multiple RME, in that case1 RME is defined as the Main RME and is responsible to the governance and coordination, the others supporting RME will perform the day-to-day activities in interaction with the Engineers but will report directly to the Main RME In case of multiple RME on the project, the Main RME will be reporting to Train System (TS) organization, the other RME could be reporting to Train design (TD) or other organization (TS, TC). Even if each RME belong to a specific organization, the RME has a transversal role, which means that he will not limit his activities to the organisation he belongs to but will support the project globally according to his scope of responsibility. Only the Main RME is reporting to TPM & CoD, in case of absence of the Main RME, 1 supporting RME will take over the governance activities. Knowledge & Experience
Mandatory Minimum of 6 years of experience in engineering Practical experience of working on projects at various stages in a project lifecycle Good communication skills in English and other required language(s) according to the job location Experience utilizing database solutions for requirements management (e.g. DOORS) Systems Engineering/Integration conceptual knowledge Technical writing, requirement elicitation and formalization Important to note
