Job Description – News Reporter (Bihar Region)

Position:News Reporter

Location: Bihar (field & office-based reporting)

Employment Type: Full-time / Part-time

Job Location-BIHAR

Key Responsibilities:

* Gather news stories, updates, and reports from Bihar across politics, social issues, economy, crime, health, education, and culture.

* Conduct field visits, interviews, press conferences, and on-ground coverage.

* Write, edit, and present accurate, unbiased, and engaging news reports.

* Develop and maintain contacts with local sources, authorities, and communities for authentic news gathering.

* Work closely with the editorial team to deliver news stories in line with company standards.

* Cover breaking news promptly with factual accuracy and clarity.

* Utilize digital tools, social media, and multimedia platforms to share news updates.

* Ensure compliance with journalistic ethics and company policies.

Requirements:

* Graduate in Journalism, Mass Communication, or relevant field (preferred).

* Strong command of Hindi and/or English (knowledge of local dialects in Bihar is an added advantage).

* Excellent reporting, writing, and communication skills.

* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

* Willingness to travel extensively across Bihar for coverage.

* Prior experience in reporting (print, digital, or TV) is desirable but freshers with good skills may also apply.

Skills:

* News sense and storytelling ability.

* Strong networking and interpersonal skills.

* Confidence in front of the camera (for TV/digital reporting).

* Proficiency in digital media, photography, or video reporting will be an advantage.
