Remote Desktop Support

As an IT Support Specialist at Birlasoft, your role involves ensuring the smooth operation of computer systems, applications, and mobile devices. Your responsibilities include: - Installing, configuring, and maintaining computer systems, applications, and mobile devices. - Managing and updating the desktop environment, including patches, updates, and security measures. - Developing and implementing solutions to enhance the end-user computing experience. - Creating and maintaining documentation for systems, processes, and procedures. - Training and assisting users in effectively utilizing computer equipment and software. - Collaborating with IT teams and vendors to resolve complex technical issues. - Ensuring compliance with company IT policies and security protocols. - Designing, implementing, and maintaining MacOS environments for optimal performance and user experience. - Troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network issues specific to Mac systems. - Administering and managing Apple devices using Mobile Device Management (MDM) tools like Jamf or Intune. - Deploying software updates, patches, and security configurations across Mac devices. - Providing technical support and training to end users for Mac systems and applications. - Collaborating with cross-functional IT teams to integrate Mac devices with existing systems and workflows. - Supporting onboarding and offboarding processes, including account setup and device deployment. - Assisting in the implementation of new technologies and upgrades to enhance the end-user experience. - Monitoring system performance and providing recommendations for improvements. Qualifications required for this role include: - Proficiency in English. - Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including VPN, firewalls, etc. - Experience in administering and monitoring identity services such as Active Directory, Azure AD, or other IAM platforms. - Familiarity with Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and password management systems. - Troubleshooting skills related to access control and user authentication. - Understanding of directory services (e.g., Active Directory, LDAP) and cloud-based identity solutions (e.g., Azure AD, AWS IAM).
