Reliability Engineer II

In this role at Honeywell, a Fortune 100 technology company, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable and resilient cloud-based infrastructure. Your tasks will include establishing and maintaining SLAs, SLOs, and SLIs to define system reliability targets, automating repetitive tasks, monitoring system health, leading incident response efforts, optimizing infrastructure, collaborating with development teams, and ensuring proper documentation and knowledge sharing. Key Responsibilities: - Develop scalable and resilient cloud-based infrastructure for high availability and performance. - Establish and maintain SLAs, SLOs, and SLIs to define system reliability targets. - Build automation for infrastructure management, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and incident resolution. - Utilize monitoring and alerting tools to track system performance and address anomalies proactively. - Lead incident response efforts and coordinate with teams to troubleshoot critical production issues. - Continuously optimize infrastructure for cost, security, and performance. - Collaborate with development teams to embed reliability engineering practices in the SDLC. - Maintain up-to-date documentation and share knowledge through mentoring and training sessions.
