Reliability Engineer

Key Skills:

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Define and develop reliability budgets and targets for systems and components using industry-standard methodologies
• Evaluate system/subsystem and component-level designs for reliability performance, material suitability, and failure risk
• Develop and implement robust reliability testing procedures for validation and verification
• Manage multiple reliability initiatives, ensuring timely completion and effective execution
• Interpret and integrate reliability-related requirements from product specifications and industry standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including systems, hardware, manufacturing, service, and quality, to support reliability activities
• Conduct reliability predictions, perform accelerated life testing, and evaluate field performance data
• Support investigation and resolution of post-market reliability events and implement lessons learned
• Prepare requirement specifications for test systems and coordinate with vendors and third-party suppliers for test setup and validation

Education:'

• B.E./B.Tech or Dual Degree (B.Tech + M.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering
• Specialization in Reliability Engineering from a reputed institution (e.g., IIT) is preferred
