Lead and support subsea system design, controls integration, hardware deployment, and reliability engineering for global offshore oil & gas projects. Collaborate across disciplines to optimize system performance and lifecycle integrity. Required Candidate profile 10–25 years of expertise in subsea controls, H/W, and reliability engineering. Strong leadership, vendor management, and experience in RAM/FMEA tools, API/DNV specs, and cross-functional coordination

Job Purpose Provide centralized services related to projects, planning and inspection Assist Engineering head in new initiatives | development Prinicipal job accoutabilities: Accountabilities: Projects Major Activities: Ensure Safety and quality by design in capex from concept to commissioning Arrange to prepare cost estimates of brownfield projects for checking viability Support project owners in preparing premise document of project Monitor and control project progress by review with cross functional team, seek support as required and appraise senior management about progress for meeting delivery Monitor and optimize project inventory and reduce to the extent Key Performance Indicators: Project execution with zero incidents and within 10 % deviation of cost & delivery Planning: Ensure to prepare annual engineering budget and present to management for approval Monitor engineering budget and control against projections Monitor centralized joint measurement sheet processing to optimize lead time Ensure to provide centralized workshop services for emergency breakdown repairs Ensure validation of incoming tools & tackles, mobile equipment and powered machines brought by contractors Ensure to audit contractors for enhancement of safety and house keeping Coordinate for monthly performance review of engineering department Generate engineering MIS for monitoring and control Support SAP implementation of PM module Coordinate for OLA to contractors and improve SLAs time to time Ensure centralized mobile equipment allocation Key Performance Indicators: Expenditure within budget. Save cost by providing centralized services Inspection: Participates in the development of criteria for and evaluation of equipment and technical MRO suppliers and technical maintenance service providers. Coordinate GFR requirements with all stakeholders and monitor compliance Strengthen condition monitoring program and enhance effectiveness Drive reliability function team and promote for RCFA & FMEA Drive preventive inspection of process safety critical equipment Drive the process of identifying damage mechanisms in case of major breakdowns Ensure quality assurance related to insulation, painting, welding and fabrication Ensure receiving inspection of engineering material Drive asset preservation program centrally Participates in the final check out of new installations. Guides efforts to ensure reliability and maintainability of equipment, processes, utilities, facilities, controls, and safety/security systems. Key Performance Indicators: % Compliance to inspection schedules % Compliance to inspection observations Compliance sustainability and integrity: Ensure all activities under his/her control and supervision are compliant with all the laws of land and statutory requirement. Conduct all operation of function, ensuring social responsibility and accountabilities by following the company guideline of the same. Be responsible for ethical operation under his control. Be responsible for prevention, detection and reporting of bribery and other forms of corruption including breach of code of conduct and other company regulation. Avoid all such activity that could lead to or imply breach of code of conduct, anti-bribery and anti-corruption etc. Skills and academic qualifications Educational Qualifications Minimum Qualification - B.Tech Mechanical Preferred Qualification - M.Tech Mechanical Functional Skills Functional Skills Required - Leadership quality to drive department Demonstrated work experience in RCM, RBI environment and applications of FMEA Ability to analysis data using statistical process control, reliability modeling and prediction, Fault Tree Analysis, Weibull Technical Skills required - BE/B Tech in Mechanical Engineering, M.Tech in Reliability Engineering or equivalent will be an advantage and charter member of relevant engineering institute or international equivalent. Key Skills: Reliability Modeling, Reliability, Predictive Analysis, Model Development, Mechanical Design Roles and Responsibilities: Define and develop reliability budgets and targets for systems and components using industry-standard methodologies Evaluate system/subsystem and component-level designs for reliability performance, material suitability, and failure risk Develop and implement robust reliability testing procedures for validation and verification Manage multiple reliability initiatives, ensuring timely completion and effective execution Interpret and integrate reliability-related requirements from product specifications and industry standards Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including systems, hardware, manufacturing, service, and quality, to support reliability activities Conduct reliability predictions, perform accelerated life testing, and evaluate field performance data Support investigation and resolution of post-market reliability events and implement lessons learned Prepare requirement specifications for test systems and coordinate with vendors and third-party suppliers for test setup and validation Skills Required: Must-Have: Strong expertise in Predictive Analysis , Reliability Modeling , and failure analysis techniques Proven experience with reliability engineering tools , such as Weibull Analysis, FMEA, and Fault Tree Analysis Sound understanding of reliability principles and life cycle testing methodologies Nice-to-Have: Exposure to model development , mechanical simulations, or CAD-based design evaluations Familiarity with mechanical design principles and system-level engineering Education:' B.E./B.Tech or Dual Degree (B.Tech + M.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering Specialization in Reliability Engineering from a reputed institution (e.g., IIT) is preferred
