Release Manager

You will be responsible for overseeing the release process for software updates in the role of Release Manager. Leading the Release Management team, you will coordinate different teams, track progress, manage risks, and resolve conflicts to ensure successful product releases. The ideal candidate should be experienced in Release Management, familiar with project management principles, proficient in problem-solving, and possess a strong understanding of software development cycles. Your key responsibilities will include managing and monitoring the progress of software releases from planning to execution and verification. You will coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful releases, develop and implement release strategies and schedules, and identify and manage risks that may affect release scope, schedule, and quality. Additionally, you will lead and coordinate Go-Live activities, conduct release readiness reviews, milestone reviews, and business go/no-go reviews, and maintain a release repository with key information. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with proven experience in release management or a similar role. A strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and project management principles is essential, as well as excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills. You should also be capable of managing multiple projects and coordinating with various teams, while having familiarity with release management tools and practices. Preferred qualifications include certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, ScrumMaster) and experience with DevOps practices and tools.,
