Job Description

Job Title: Relationship Officer – NBFC

Department: Sales & Customer Relations / Branch Operations
Reports To: Branch Manager / Relationship Manager

Job Purpose:

To manage and nurture relationships with clients, ensuring customer satisfaction, promoting NBFC products, and supporting business growth through timely credit and financial solutions.

Key Responsibilities:1. Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers.
  • Understand customer needs and provide tailored financial solutions.
  • Maintain and strengthen long-term relationships with clients.
  • Address customer queries, complaints, and service issues promptly.

2. Business Development & Sales

  • Identify potential clients and generate new leads.
  • Cross-sell NBFC financial products such as loans, insurance, and investment plans.
  • Achieve branch/portfolio targets as per management guidelines.

3. Loan & Financial Services

  • Assist clients in loan application and documentation.
  • Verify KYC (Know Your Customer) documents and other legal paperwork.
  • Monitor loan repayments, collections, and overdue accounts.

4. Market Research & Reporting

  • Conduct market surveys and competitor analysis to identify business opportunities.
  • Report regularly on client feedback, market trends, and branch performance.
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and transactions.

5. Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure all activities comply with regulatory and company policies.
  • Identify potential risks in customer relationships or transactions.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for risk assessment and resolution.

6. Coordination & Teamwork

  • Collaborate with branch staff, credit officers, and collections teams.
  • Assist in organizing client meetings, events, or campaigns.
  • Provide inputs for process improvement and customer service enhancements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
