Relationship Manager

As a Relationship Manager at Standard Chartered, your main responsibility will be managing and developing relationships with clients of SME Banking. Your role will involve driving business growth and meeting the bank's strategic objectives by providing client needs-based solutions, structuring appropriate credit facilities, and executing various banking transactions. You will be tasked with identifying prospects, converting them to generate new business, and proactively building trusted client relationships to maintain a portfolio of active and growing customers. In line with the bank's direction, your key responsibilities will include: - Identifying prospects and converting them into clients - Providing client-centric solutions, structuring appropriate credit facilities, and executing various banking transactions - Maintaining a portfolio of active and growing customers - Marketing and selling a broad range of products such as Trade Services, Lending, Cash Management, and Wealth - Preparing credit proposals and loan applications for customers - Working closely with the credit team to ensure good quality lending decisions are made - Implementing agreed business plans to achieve sales/revenue targets To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and experience: - 5+ years of relevant experience in serving business, commercial, or corporate clients - A track record in new client acquisition - Sound product knowledge on Trade, Cash Management, Lending, and FX, along with a strong understanding of local industries, supply and value chains, and market environment - Experience in servicing international businesses under the cross-border context - Fluency in Mandarin is a plus - Sound knowledge of wealth products - Outstanding communication and presentation skills About Standard Chartered: Standard Chartered is an international bank with a legacy of over 170 years, committed to making a positive difference for clients, communities, and employees.
