Job Description

Job Title: Relationship Manager Location: Mumbai/ Ahmedabad/ Indore/ Raipur/ NCR/ Hyderabad/ Kolkata/Kanpur/ Indore Roles and Responsibilities: 1. Sales and Business Development Identify potential customers and generate leads for health and motor insurance through direct channels (personal contacts, walk-ins, corporate camps, etc.). Actively pitch insurance products to individuals and retail customers to achieve monthly sales targets. Organize and participate in sales campaigns, kiosks, and promotional events for customer acquisition. ¢ Maintain a robust sales pipeline and focus on conversion rates. 2. Customer Relationship Management (CRM) ¢ Build and nurture strong relationships with existing and new customers to ensure long-term retention. ¢ Provide guidance to customers in selecting suitable insurance policies tailored to their specific needs. ¢ Educate customers about product features, benefits, exclusions, and terms to build trust and avoid miscommunication. 3. Policy Issuance and Documentation ¢ Facilitate smooth documentation for policy issuance, ensuring accurate and timely submissions. ¢ Assist customers in claim processing, renewals, endorsements, and modifications in policies as required. 4. Market Research and Competitor Analysis ¢ Stay updated with market trends, competitor strategies, and customer preferences in the Nagpur region. ¢ Provide feedback to the management on customer needs and market opportunities to improve product offerings. 5. Cross-Selling and Upselling ¢ Promote cross-selling by introducing health insurance to motor insurance clients and vice versa. ¢ Identify opportunities to upsell higher-value policies or riders for better customer coverage. 6. Compliance and Reporting ¢ Ensure adherence to IRDAI guidelines and company policies for ethical selling. ¢ Maintain daily activity reports, sales records, and customer databases for transparency and operational efficiency. ¢ Handle escalations and grievances with prompt resolution, ensuring customer satisfaction. 7. Training and Development ¢ Stay updated on product knowledge, new launches, and process changes through regular training sessions. Share insights and learning with peers to contribute to overall team development. Key Skills and Qualifications: ¢ Education: Graduate in any discipline. ¢ Experience: 1-3 years in insurance sales. ¢ Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. ¢ Local Knowledge: Familiarity with the Nagpur market and its customer base is an advantage.
