Job Description

The role based in Mumbai involves managing a portfolio of SME clients in Corporate, Marine/Liability, Fire/Property, GMC, and GPA sectors. The primary responsibilities include monitoring clients" insurance needs, proactively engaging with them, and ensuring client satisfaction and retention. Building and maintaining strong relationships with SME clients, understanding their business needs, and offering personalized services are crucial aspects of this role. Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the SME sector to expand the client base and revenue is also a key focus. The ideal candidate will excel in selling insurance products and services to SMEs while cross-selling relevant financial products. Effective communication, interpersonal skills, and negotiation abilities are essential. A proven track record of achieving sales targets and recognizing new business prospects is required. Moreover, a solid understanding of various insurance products and policies relevant to SMEs is vital. Providing exceptional customer service, fostering long-term relationships, and addressing client queries promptly are integral components of this position. Collaborating with internal teams and customer service to ensure seamless service delivery to SME clients is essential. A Bachelor's degree and prior experience in catering to the unique needs and challenges of SME businesses are preferred qualifications.
