About the Company/Business
Structured Fice Group (SFG) team is part of the Wholesale Banking Group. The team works across sectors to structure & provide debt ficing solutions across situations like balance sheet funding, structured ficing, HoldCo ficing, sub-debt, securitization of receivables, acquisitions ficing etc.

Specification

The candidate (Sr Originator / Sr RM) shall be responsible for originating deals, developing ficing solutions for the clients and working with credit, sales and execution team by leading the entire deal lifecycle. Candidate shall lead the Deal end to end from identification and scoping of potential clients, ideation with customer, pitching for the deal with proposed solutions. Once the client is agreeable for solution the Sr RM shall work with the credit, external agencies, sales, due diligence, documentation and final closure. There would be Execution and Sales team members who will fully support the Sr RM in terms of the pitch materials, execution for hold position and placement for market.

Deliverables

  • Scoping and scanning the market for origination of potential structured fice transactions across standard asset classes, high yield deals, and special situation deals from both the primary as well as secondary (existing lender/investor) markets.
  • Ideating with Promoters/CFO/CXO for structuring and identifying opportunities for ficing/ restructuring / settlement.
  • Need good understanding and communication skills to hold conversation and lead the deal origination with the client. Candidate need to be a HUNTER mindset with very good understanding of markets.
  • Continuous engagement with internal relationships, agencies and coverage teams
  • Lead the pitch deck for providing the right ficing solutions and overseeing the execution team member.
  • Overseeing the credit analysis for internal do-ability assessment- cash flow models etc.
  • Closure of deal including sanctions, due diligences, documentation and funding
  • Working independently as well as part of a larger team
Relationships
External - Borrowers/ Issuers, Investors, Legal Counsels, Rating Agency, Trustee, valuation agencies, etc.
Internal clients- RMs , Credit, Product, Treasury
Qualification and Experience
  • Qualifications MBA (from top tier institutions); CA (rankers / first attempt)
  • Experience profile of at least 8-14 years
  • Should have in-depth experience of working with Borrowers/Corporates
  • Open to look at smart candidates from corporate fice verticals of large corporates who have been on M&A deals and fund raising.
  • Established track record of origination / structuring / placement of deals
  • Create deals across situations -acquisitions ficing, refice, stressed assets space, partner/ PE buy outs, etc.
  • Good understanding of banking regulations, taxation & other regulatory framework relevant to structuring, listing, etc.
Skills
  • Strong coverage and origination capabilities; relationship management skills
  • Has to be a HUNTER mindset person with capability and experience of it.
  • Mental flexibility, regulatory awareness to structure and execute deals across situations
  • Term sheets and documentation negotiation
  • Self-starting & initiative-taking abilities to work in unstructured situations
