About the Role

As a Relationship Manager (RM) in the Commercial Banking Group, you will be responsible for acquiring new customers, driving business growth, and expanding the lending book through NTB and ETB channels. You will work closely with branch teams, manage customer relationships, and ensure bestinclass customer service. The role requires strong market mapping, business development, and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve topline business targets through channel sourcing.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with bank branches and crosssell products.
  • Drive launch and penetration of new products in assigned markets.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction through quality service and prompt query resolution.
  • Manage endtoend loan processes from login to disbursement.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Credit, Operations, etc.) for smooth processing.
  • Acquire and onboard channel partners (Connectors) for business sourcing.
  • Strengthen branch relationships, mentor ARMs, and deepen existing client portfolios.
  • Prevent and minimize entry of fraudulent or risky proposals.
  • Act as the absolute owner of the mapped book and manage the complete customer lifecycle.
  • Handle renewals, deferrals, portfolio health, DPDs, and interest servicing.
  • Increase product penetration and drive fullrelationship banking.
  • Manage productivity of mapped Relationship Officers.
  • Use digital platforms such as Project Neo, STP Journeys, Business App, Siddhi, etc., to provide faster customer experience.

Qualifications

  • Graduate / Postgraduate from a recognized institute.
  • Minimum

    2+ years

    of sales experience (preferably in banking / financial services).

  • Strong sales orientation with a track record of achieving targets.
  • Ability to manage complex client relationships and multiple stakeholders.
  • Understanding of industry trends, market dynamics, and product knowledge.
  • Familiarity with regulatory guidelines and compliance norms.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong risk assessment and compliance mindset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fastpaced environment.
