Relationship Manager

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Acquisition

  • Acquire

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the assigned territory.
  • Launch and promote new products within the market.

Relationship & Portfolio Management

  • Maintain detailed customer profiles, including risk assessments, revenue potential, and banking needs.
  • Deepen existing relationships through crossselling products like

    Trade & Forex, CMS, SME Loans

    , and other commercial banking offerings.
  • Manage full customer lifecycle, including renewals, deferrals, interest servicing, and portfolio health (DPDs).

Process & Compliance

  • Manage endtoend loan processingfrom login to disbursement.
  • Coordinate with Credit, Operations, and internal departments to ensure smooth processing.
  • Ensure 100% adherence to KYC, regulatory, and compliance guidelines.
  • Prevent and minimize submission of risky or fraudulent proposals.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Strengthen relationships with bank branches and support ARMs to drive product penetration.
  • Acquire and manage channel partners (connectors) to increase sourcing.
  • Log all interactions and sales activities on CRM platforms.

Digital Adoption

  • Effectively use Axis Banks digital platforms such as

    Project Neo, STP Journeys, Business App, Siddhi

    , etc., for faster and enhanced customer experience.

Qualifications

  • Graduate or Postgraduate from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum

    2+ years

    of sales experience (preferably in Business/SME/Corporate Banking).

Role Proficiencies

  • Strong sales orientation and proven track record of meeting targets.
  • Deep understanding of banking products, market trends, credit basics, and customer profiling.
  • Ability to manage complex client requirements and diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong risk and compliance mindset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle dynamic priorities.
