Job Description

As a Portfolio Relationship Manager - Business Banking in the Retail Banking business, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the hygiene of the portfolio by renewing cases, exploring opportunities for limit enhancement, and servicing interest/overdue accounts to prevent delinquency/NPA. You will also be tasked with closing deferral dues and other related activities to maintain the health of the portfolio. Your role will involve driving the sales and relationship management teams to acquire new customers and deepen existing relationships through various financial products such as CMS, trade/Fx, and working capital solutions. Your goal will be to grow the business banking book by developing micro market and segment-specific solutions in collaboration with product teams to offer a differentiated value proposition to customers. Additionally, you will be responsible for establishing a seamless service architecture by integrating various channels, including branch banking and phone banking, to support the business effectively. You will play a key role in fostering a collaborative work culture between branches, assets teams, and support structures to ensure the success of the business. In your secondary responsibilities, you will be expected to deepen relationships with customers, anticipate their future needs, introduce effective solutions to strengthen their portfolios, and identify cross-selling opportunities to maximize the share of wallet. You will work closely with case managers to onboard and retain clients, share market updates with clients, execute strategic initiatives, and network with clients to uncover new business opportunities. Key success metrics for this role include resolving renewal dues, generating CASA and fee income, resolving irregularities, closing deferrals, acquiring new-to-bank customers, facilitating onboarding and activation processes, and deepening product penetration. Overall, as a Portfolio Relationship Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth, maintaining portfolio health, and providing excellent service to customers in the business banking segment.,
