Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Facultative Placement & Underwriting Support

Share facultative quotes with underwriters and ensure timely placement.
Submit Facultative Placement Register to CUO every Friday.
Ensure month-end closure by submitting Fac data before the 5th of each month.

System & Automation

Support IT system development and automation initiatives for reinsurance processes.

Reinsurance Operations

Place new accounts (RI) and ensure accurate booking of policies and endorsements in GC.
Prepare endorsement slips and closings for direct placements.
Obtain reinsurer approvals for endorsements and follow up for bookings.

Compliance & Reporting

Ensure 100% adherence to premium payments to reinsurers as per PPW.
Maintain and monitor reinsurance commission ratios.
Submit IRDA data within due dates and provide audit data for requested accounts.

Documentation & Coordination

Prepare allocations and maintain documentation for audit and internal tracking.
Coordinate with brokers and reinsurers for meetings and placement discussions.

Skill Development

Actively engage in personal skill enhancement and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Strong understanding of reinsurance operations and facultative placements.
Proficient in policy booking systems (e.g., GC), Excel, and reporting tools.
Excellent coordination, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Knowledge of IRDA regulations and compliance requirements.
