Location: Al-Azhar Medical College & Super Specialty Hospital, Thodupuzha

Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in Cath Lab or Post Cath Care Unit

Qualification:

• B.Sc / GNM Nursing
• Kerala Nursing Council Registration mandatory

Job Summary:

The Cath Lab and Post Cath Nurses are responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and post-procedure recovery. They ensure patient safety, assist in procedures, and support cardiologists in delivering quality cardiac care.

Key Responsibilities:Cath Lab Staff Nurse:

• Assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures such as angiogram, angioplasty, and pacemaker implantation.
• Prepare the Cath Lab, ensuring sterile environment and availability of required equipment.
• Monitor patient vitals during and after procedures.
• Administer medications and maintain accurate records.
• Support emergency management during procedures.

Post Cath Nurse:

• Provide post-procedure monitoring and care in the recovery unit.
• Observe and record vital signs, detect complications, and report promptly.
• Administer prescribed medications and maintain patient comfort.
• Educate patients and families on post-procedure care and discharge instructions.
• Ensure infection control and documentation compliance.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
