Regional Sales Manager - School Acquisition (K12)

As a Regional Sales Manager for School Acquisition (K12), your primary responsibility will be to identify and target existing schools in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Gurgaon, and Ludhiana to convert them into Birla Open Minds International Schools. You will conduct market research to identify potential school acquisition zones and develop and execute acquisition strategies for the region. It will be your duty to set and meet school conversion targets and build rapport with school owners, management, and decision-makers by presenting the Birla Open Minds value proposition and educational philosophy. You will be responsible for evaluating potential schools for fit and alignment with Birla's standards and leading contract negotiations with prospective partners. Managing the seamless integration of acquired schools into the Birla Open Minds brand will be crucial, requiring coordination with internal teams for academic and operational alignment. Collaboration with marketing, academic, and operations teams is essential to share market feedback and insights with senior management. Your role will also involve reporting acquisition performance and conversion metrics, maintaining the pipeline, and updating leadership on progress. To excel in this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (an MBA is preferred) and possess a deep understanding of the K-12 education sector. Strong sales and negotiation skills, the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and large-scale projects, as well as strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities are essential. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in education sales, business development, or school acquisition, with a proven track record of engaging with school owners and senior stakeholders. Extensive regional travel should be expected in this role.
