Job Description


We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager (RSM) with proven experience in rooftop solar sales to lead and scale our sales operations across multiple states. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in solar EPC business development, team leadership, channel partnerships, and sales strategy execution.

You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing regional teams, developing new markets, and ensuring high conversion ratios from lead to closure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales and business development for residential and commercial rooftop solar projects across assigned regions.
  • Lead, train, and motivate inside sales and field sales teams to achieve regional targets.
  • Identify and onboard new channel partners, dealers, and business associates to expand market reach.
  • Strategize and execute regional sales and marketing plans aligned with company goals.
  • Manage large key accounts and ensure timely proposal submission, negotiation, and closure.
  • Track and analyze regional sales performance, pipeline status, and conversion metrics.
  • Work closely with the operations team to ensure smooth project handover and execution.
  • Stay updated on government schemes (e.g., PM Surya Ghar), subsidy structures, and DISCOM policies.
  • Represent Vanguard Energy at regional industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum 1 years of experience in solar rooftop sales (mandatory).
  • Proven track record in team management and revenue achievement.
  • Strong understanding of solar EPC business models, system design basics, and financial ROI calculations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently with a performance-driven mindset.
  • Multilingual proficiency (English, Marathi)
