Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies to meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Forecast sales volumes, track performance metrics, and adjust plans based on market trends.
  • Drive adoption of the company's medical devices across hospitals, clinics, and healthcare networks.
  • Identify high-value accounts and prioritize business development efforts.
  • Expand market penetration by acquiring new customers and increasing share in existing accounts.
  • Ensure proper coverage of all hospitals, distributors, and key healthcare facilities in the region.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Territory Managers, Sales Representatives, or Clinical Specialists.
  • Conduct performance reviews, ride-alongs, and coaching sessions to improve sales effectiveness.
  • Recruit, train, and onboard new team members.
  • Build strong relationships with surgeons, physicians, nurses, procurement teams, and hospital administrators.
  • Understand clinical needs and position products based on outcomes, safety, and value.
  • Handle escalations and ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of the company's device portfolio, usage workflows, and clinical applications.
  • Support product evaluations, trials, and demonstrations with clinical or technical teams.
  • Work with Marketing to execute regional campaigns, conferences, and workshops.
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain and Operations to ensure product availability and timely delivery.
  • Provide market feedback to R&D and Product Management.
  • Provide regular market reports to leadership.

Preferred candidate profile:

  • 10-15 years of total experience

    in medical device sales, with

    3-5 years in a leadership/managerial role

    .
  • Proven track record of selling to

    hospitals, surgeons, clinicians, and procurement teams

    .
  • Experience managing a

    regional territory

    - East & North East

    with both direct sales teams and/or distributor networks.
  • Prior experience in relevant device categories (critical care) is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in

    driving revenue growth

    and meeting/exceeding annual sales targets.
