Description
We are seeking an experienced and driven Regional Sales Manager to oversee sales operations in Jaipur for our Ayurvedic product lines. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing regional sales teams, driving growth, and expanding market presence in this industry. This role requires a deep understanding of the Ayurvedic and herbal product markets and the ability to manage relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and key retail partners in the Jaipur region/North India. ## Key Responsibilities: ### Sales Strategy & Execution: - Develop and implement effective regional sales strategies for the Jaipur market, ensuring alignment with the companys business objectives. - Drive sales growth by identifying new market opportunities, expanding distribution channels, and increasing product penetration. - Regularly assess market conditions, customer preferences, and competitor activities in the Ayurvedic sectors to refine sales strategies. ### Team Leadership & Management: - Lead and manage the regional sales team, providing guidance, coaching, and performance management to meet sales targets. - Establish sales targets and monitor team performance to ensure KPIs are achieved. - Organize regular training sessions to equip the sales team with up-to-date product knowledge and effective selling techniques. ### Distribution & Channel Management: - Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, wholesalers, and other key partners in Jaipur. - Ensure effective distribution and availability of products across various retail channels, including modern trade, traditional trade, and e-commerce. - Collaborate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure smooth and timely product delivery. ### Customer Relationship Management: - Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and retention. - Act as the primary point of contact for resolving customer issues and addressing concerns, particularly with top-tier clients. ### Market Expansion & Product Promotion: - Identify and pursue new business opportunities within Jaipur/North India, including untapped markets and potential partnerships. - Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute promotional activities and campaigns tailored to the Jaipur/North India market. - Conduct regular market visits to monitor product performance, gather customer feedback, and ensure optimal visibility of the brand. ### Sales Reporting & Analysis: - Prepare detailed sales reports, providing insights on sales performance, trends, and opportunities for improvement. - Analyze regional sales data to make informed decisions regarding sales tactics and territory management. - Provide regular feedback to senior management on regional sales performance and potential growth areas. ## Requirements: ### Experience: - Minimum 5-7+ years of sales management experience in the Ayurvedic or herbal products industry, specifically in the Jaipur/North India region. - Proven experience in leading and managing sales teams to achieve or exceed sales targets. ### Technical Skills: - Strong knowledge of sales strategies, distribution channels, and market dynamics in the Ayurvedic sectors. - Proficiency in CRM systems, sales performance tools, and data analysis. ### Industry Knowledge: - Deep understanding of the Ayurvedic and herbal product markets, with insights into consumer behavior and preferences in the Jaipur/North India region. - Experience working with large retail chains, distributors, and wholesalers in the health and wellness industry. ### Soft Skills: - Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. - Strong leadership and team management abilities. - Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines. ## Nice to Have: - Experience with modern trade and e-commerce sales strategies. - Familiarity with government regulations and compliance requirements for Ayurvedic products in India.
