Job Description

Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned region.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize revenue and market share.
  • Drive product penetration across urban, semi-urban, and rural markets.

Team Management & Development

  • Lead, guide, and motivate Area Sales Managers (ASMs), Territory Sales Officers (TSOs), and sales representatives.
  • Monitor team performance against KPIs and ensure productivity.
  • Conduct regular training, performance reviews, and capability-building programs.

Distribution & Channel Management

  • Strengthen distributor, wholesaler, and retailer networks.
  • Ensure product availability, visibility, and placement across all sales channels (General Trade, Modern Trade, E-Commerce).
  • Manage distributor ROI, credit, stock levels, and supply chain efficiency.

Market Development & Strategy Execution

  • Identify new market opportunities and expand the brand footprint within the region.
  • Execute product launches, trade promotions, and regional marketing initiatives.
  • Track competitor activities and recommend strategies to stay ahead.

Operational Excellence & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to company policies, schemes, pricing, and trade norms.
  • Manage claims, discounts, returns, and promotional spends effectively.
  • Ensure smooth execution of supply chain, order fulfillment, and logistics.

Business Analysis & Reporting

  • Track primary, secondary, and tertiary sales for the region.
  • Prepare sales performance reports and share insights with senior management.
  • Use market intelligence and data analysis to improve sales effectiveness.

Customer & Trade Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key distributors, retailers, and trade partners.
  • Resolve escalations and ensure long-term customer satisfaction.
  • Represent the company in regional trade forums and business meetings.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹500,000.00 per year

Experience:

  • FMCG: 5 years (Preferred)
  • B2B sales: 5 years (Preferred)
  • Marketing : 5 years (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

  • 100% (Preferred)
