Job Description

As the Regional Logistics Manager (RLM) for the Glanbia Division, your main responsibility will be to manage and optimize end-to-end logistics operations in your assigned region. This includes overseeing warehousing, transportation, and distribution to ensure timely delivery, cost efficiency, inventory control, and compliance with company and statutory logistics standards. Key Responsibilities: - Manage regional logistics operations such as warehousing, transportation, and distribution. - Plan and optimize primary and secondary transportation for timely product movement. - Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate stock reconciliation at warehouses and depots. - Coordinate with CFA/warehouse partners for smooth inbound and outbound operations. - Ensure compliance with GST, e-way bills, documentation, and statutory logistics requirements. - Control logistics costs and implement cost-saving initiatives. - Handle transporter negotiations, rate finalization, and performance reviews. - Efficiently resolve delivery issues, shortages, damages, and escalations. - Coordinate with Sales, Supply Chain, and Finance teams for demand planning and dispatches. - Ensure adherence to SOPs, safety standards, and company policies. - Prepare MIS reports related to logistics performance, cost, and service levels. - Lead and manage regional logistics teams and vendors. Required Qualifications & Experience: - Graduate / Post-Graduate in Logistics, Supply Chain, or relevant field. - 6-10 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or distribution management. - Experience in FMCG / Nutrition / Pharma / Dairy industry preferred. - Strong knowledge of transportation, warehousing, and inventory management. - Hands-on experience with ERP / SAP / logistics systems. - Sound knowledge of GST, e-way bills, and statutory compliance. - Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. - Good communication and stakeholder management skills. Key Skills & Competencies: - Regional logistics planning. - Vendor & transporter management. - Cost optimization. - Inventory control & reconciliation. - Compliance & documentation. - Team leadership and coordination.
