Regional - IT Manager

Role & responsibilities

You will be responsible for

IT Operations & Infrastructure

Manage regional IT infrastructure including servers, networks, endpoints, applications, and cloud services

Ensure high availability, performance, and security of all IT systems

Oversee branch IT setups, upgrades, and expansions

Security & Compliance

Ensure compliance with financial industry regulations, data protection laws, and internal IT policies

Implement and enforce cybersecurity controls, access management, and incident response procedures

Coordinate audits, risk assessments, and vulnerability management

Leadership & Team Management

Lead, mentor, and evaluate regional IT staff and vendors

Assign workloads, manage performance, and provide technical guidance

Coordinate with head office IT teams to align regional and corporate IT strategies

Project Management

Plan and deliver IT projects such as system implementations, migrations, and upgrades

Manage project timelines, budgets, and vendor relationships

Ensure minimal disruption to business operations during IT changes

Business Support

Act as the primary IT point of contact for regional management

Support core financial systems (banking platforms, ERP, CRM, trading, payment systems)

Provide escalation support for critical incidents and outages

Vendor & Budget Management

Manage regional IT budgets and optimize technology costs

Negotiate and manage contracts with IT vendors and service providers

Monitor SLAs and service performance

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field

7+ years of progressive IT experience, including 3+ years in a managerial role

Experience in financial services, banking, insurance, or fintech environments, Strong knowledge of:

• Network and systems administration
• Cybersecurity best practices
• IT service management (ITIL)
• Disaster recovery and business continuity
