Regional HSW Manager

As a senior leader in Health Safety & Wellbeing (HSW) at Mott MacDonald, your role is crucial in championing HSW across the ISMA, GDSC, and IDSR regions. By tailoring group-wide initiatives into region-specific strategies, you will engage with stakeholders and drive implementation to prioritize safety and security for our people and communities. Your responsibilities include: - Leading and coordinating HSW for the Region, ensuring effective implementation of Group and Regional HSW policy - Promoting a culture where HSW is fundamental to operational delivery and strategic planning - Providing leadership, guidance, and oversight of the Safety & Wellbeing plan across the Region - Reporting to the Regional General Manager on HSW culture and performance - Reviewing Unit and project quality and HSE plans to ensure compliance with standards - Representing the ISMA Region externally and liaising with enforcement authorities - Collaborating with Learning and Development teams to create a learning environment through training sessions - Planning and implementing an internal audit schedule to meet Group requirements for external ISO accreditation Qualifications required for this role include: - Degree qualified in any relevant discipline - Relevant health and safety qualifications and membership of recognized professional body - Significant experience in a similar senior HSW position - Ability to lead colleagues and influence management in risk management - Strong interpersonal and communication skills - Ethical behavior and zero tolerance for bribery or corrupt practices Your innovative and collaborative approach, along with your strategic and critical thinking, will be essential in managing workload and achieving deliverables.
