Reference Data Specialist

🛠 Key Responsibilities

• Manage, maintain, and validate reference data across internal systems.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries and scripts to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve data issues.
• Build, enhance, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Work closely with business and technology teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Conduct root-cause analysis for recurring data issues and recommend long-term fixes.
• Support ongoing data quality, automation, and process improvement initiatives.

🎯 Required Skills

• Strong SQL expertise (advanced queries, scripting, optimization).
• Hands-on experience with Power BI (DAX, data modeling, dashboards).
• Ability to write scripts/code for data validation and correction.
• Strong understanding of reference data concepts.
• Experience in BFSI/Investment Banking (reference data, trade support, or operations).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
