Job Description

Objective of the role:

build a strong foundation in domain-focused recruitment consulting

Role & responsibilities

  • Support senior consultants in

    end-to-end execution

    of recruitment mandates for automotive and manufacturing clients.
  • Understand job requirements, plant structures, and role expectations under guidance.
  • Source relevant profiles through

    databases, job portals, LinkedIn, referrals, and headhunting support

    .
  • Identify and map

    target companies, competitors, and talent pools

    for assigned mandates.
  • Conduct

    initial screening calls

    to assess role fit, experience relevance, compensation, notice period, and motivation.
  • Shortlist candidates strictly as per

    defined criteria and quality benchmarks

    .
  • Prepare

    structured candidate profiles and summaries

    highlighting key experience and suitability.
  • Coordinate and schedule

    interviews, plant visits, and discussions

    between clients and candidates.
  • Ensure timely

    follow-ups on interview feedback

    from both clients and candidates.
  • Maintain accurate and updated

    ATS / trackers / MIS reports

    .
  • Assist in

    offer roll-out, documentation collection, and joining confirmations

    .
  • Manage

    candidate engagement during notice period

    to minimize dropouts.
  • Provide regular

    status updates

    to senior consultants on assigned mandates.
  • Support

    talent mapping, market research, and benchmarking

    activities.
  • Maintain high standards of

    professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical conduct

    .
  • Ensure a

    positive candidate experience

    at every stage of the hiring process.
  • Adhere to internal

    processes, timelines, and compliance requirements

    .
  • Continuously build knowledge of

    automotive and manufacturing domains

    , roles, and client organizations.
  • Take ownership of

    smaller or support mandates

    as part of career progression.
  • Contribute to building a

    strong long-term talent pipeline

    for repeat and future requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

  • BE / BTech

    in Mechanical, Automobile, Electrical, Electronics, Industrial, or Production Engineering or

    BE + MBA (HR)

    will be an added advantage.
  • Engineering background enables better

    understanding of manufacturing processes and technical roles

    .
  • MBA exposure supports

    structured communication and stakeholder management

    .
  • 02 years of experience

    in recruitment, HR, or related roles is acceptable.
  • Fresh engineering graduates with

    strong communication skills

    may be considered.
  • Prior exposure to

    automotive or manufacturing hiring

    is a plus.
  • Ability to

    interact professionally with senior technical and leadership candidates

    .
  • Strong

    learning orientation, follow-up discipline, and attention to detail

    .
  • Aspiration to build a

    long-term career in recruitment consulting
