Job Description

Core Responsibilities

Greeting and Assisting Visitors: Welcome and guide students, parents, and other visitors with a positive and professional demeanor.
Communication Management: Handle incoming phone calls, route them to the appropriate personnel, and manage official emails and inquiries.
Administrative Support: Assist with various administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, managing appointment schedules, and maintaining calendars.
Record Keeping: Manage the visitor log, maintain student attendance records, and submit reports to concerned departments.
Office Upkeep: Ensure the reception area is tidy, organized, and well-maintained. Monitor and order office supplies as needed.
Lead Handling: In some branches, the role might involve initial lead handling, driving walk-ins, and coordinating with the counseling/sales team.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills in hindi, English, Punjabi are consistently required.
Computer Literacy: Basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel), Google Sheets, and Gmail is necessary.
Interpersonal Skills: A polite, confident, and student-supportive personality is key.

Typical Working Conditions

Location: The role is typically office-based (work from office) at the specific MAAC branch location.
Hours: Standard working hours are often full-time, such as 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Saturday.
Dress Code: A smart, professional appearance is expected as the receptionist is the "face" of the institute.
