Our centre provides therapies for children with developmental delays, autism, ADHD, and learning challenges, along with counseling and early intervention programs for families. Position Overview: We are looking for a dedicated, patient, and enthusiastic Teacher Assistant to join our Amritsar team. The role involves supporting therapists and educators in delivering effective therapy and learning sessions, maintaining classroom structure, and fostering a supportive environment for children and families. Key Responsibilities: Child Support & Learning: Assist in therapy and educational sessions under therapist supervision. Engage children in academic, behavioral, and play-based learning activities. Support children in developing communication, social, and motor skills. Classroom & Resource Management: Prepare materials, worksheets, and activity setups before each session. Maintain cleanliness and organization of therapy/classroom spaces. Assist in recording session data, attendance, and progress notes. Parent & Team Coordination: Communicate politely and clearly with parents about schedules and routines. Coordinate with therapists, special educators, and coordinators for daily planning. Provide feedback or observations about child progress when requested. Centre Support: Help in organizing group sessions, workshops, and awareness activities. Ensure smooth daily operations and adherence to centre guidelines. Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology / Education / Child Development / Social Work or related fields. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Basic computer literacy (MS Office, Google Sheets). Prior experience in teaching, therapy, or child care is preferred but not mandatory.
