Receiving Supervisor

As a Shipping and Receiving Supervisor at the firm's Ridgefield Park data center location, your responsibilities will include: - Matching deliveries to Purchase Orders - Emailing receiving details for Central Receiving in New York - Preparing and shipping packages via messenger services, UPS, and FedEx to local and international offices - Bar code tagging and recording of assets and their movements - Supervising normal shipping, receiving, and packing operations, which may include counting, weighing, and identifying items - Defining and ensuring that the duties, responsibilities, authority, and accountability of all direct reports are understood - Maintaining metrics and visual boards in the work area - Overseeing and ensuring that incoming merchandise is accurately processed, verifying that all shipments arrive secure and complete - Verifying that proper documentation accompanies all customer mail-outs, sales receipts, and tissue Qualifications required for this role: - Experience in shipping and receiving operations - Strong attention to detail - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment - Good communication skills Please note that this is a full-time, permanent position with benefits including Provident Fund and performance bonuses.
