REBAR DETAILER

Location : Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Rebar Detailer to join our back-office engineering team supporting building construction projects. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in rebar detailing, bar bending schedules, and interpreting structural drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare rebar shop drawings, bar bending schedules (BBS), and reinforcement details based on structural and architectural drawings.
• Coordinate with design engineers, site teams, and consultants to clarify detailing requirements.
• Review structural drawings for discrepancies and provide technical inputs to resolve issues.
• Ensure all rebar drawings adhere to relevant codes, standards, and project specifications.
• Maintain proper documentation and version control of all drawings and revisions.
• Utilize CAD and detailing software to produce high-quality and precise rebar detailing outputs.
• Support project engineers in preparing quantity take-offs and material summaries.
• Ensure timely delivery of detailing outputs in line with project schedules.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, RebarCAD, or similar detailing software.
• Good understanding of reinforced concrete structures, construction drawings, and detailing standards (ACI, BS, IS Codes).
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced office environment.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in rebar detailing for building construction projects (preferably GCC experience).

Preferred Attributes:

• Experience in international project standards and coordination with offshore teams.
• Familiarity with 3D modeling tools (Tekla / Revit Structures) is an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
