Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and talented Mechanical Intern to join our dynamic team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be involved in the design, development, and testing of mechanical components and systems for our advanced robotic products.
Responsibilities:

Assist in Design and Development: Support the creation and refinement of mechanical components and systems for robotics.
Collaborate Across Teams: Work with software, controls, and hardware teams to ensure integration and functionality of mechanical designs.
Problem-Solving Support: Help address mechanical design challenges to improve product performance and reliability.
Learn and Apply New Techniques: Stay informed about advancements in mechanical engineering and apply new methods under supervision.
Document Work: Assist in documenting design processes, specifications, and test results.
Engage in Design Reviews: Actively participate in design reviews, providing feedback and incorporating suggestions.
Hands-on Prototyping and Testing: Gain practical experience in building prototypes and conducting tests.
Professional Development: Engage in learning opportunities and seek mentorship for professional growth.
Manage Tasks Efficiently: Handle assigned tasks effectively, adhering to project timelines.
Adhere to Standards: Follow safety protocols and maintain high-quality standards in all activities.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Strong understanding of mechanical principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
Experience with CAD software SolidWorks for mechanical design.
Basic knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD).
Familiarity with mechanical prototyping and fabrication techniques.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
