Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Formulation Development:

Develop and optimize Ayurvedic beauty and personal care products (skin, hair, bath, body, etc.).
Conduct ingredient research, compatibility studies, and stability trials.
Incorporate clean, Ayurvedic, and natural actives aligned with brand philosophy.

Regulatory & Compliance:

Ensure all products meet
AYUSH
and
GMP
guidelines.
Prepare documentation for
license applications
, label approvals, and regulatory submissions.
Stay updated with changes in cosmetic and Ayurvedic product regulations.

Quality & Protocol Adherence:

Establish and monitor
strict lab protocols
, batch records, SOPs, and hygiene standards.
Oversee
Quality Control (QC)
procedures and product testing (raw materials to finished goods).
Handle documentation and technical dossiers as per certification and licensing requirements.

Certification & Standards:

Drive product certification processes for
Ecocert, Organic, PETA, ISO, and GMP
.
Work with certifying agencies to prepare audits, documentation, and compliance checks.

Cross-Functional Coordination:

Liaise with marketing, production, design, and legal teams to ensure timely launches and compliance.
Support scale-up from lab to pilot to commercial batches.

Preferred candidate profile

Any science or pharmacy graduate
36 years of hands-on experience in Ayurvedic beauty product development
; additional cosmetic formulation knowledge is a plus.
In-depth knowledge of
AYUSH norms
,
GMP standards
,
lab protocols
, and
regulatory frameworks
.
Experience handling documentation for product
certifications and licenses
(Ecocert, Organic, PETA, ISO).
Strong analytical, documentation, and coordination skills.
Passion for natural, Ayurvedic, and clean beauty innovations.
