We are seeking a passionate and driven R&D Engineer to join our Research & Development team. This role will focus on developing new technologies and improving existing processes for the efficient, safe, and environmentally responsible recovery of precious metals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and develop new refining and recycling methods using hydrometallurgical and pyrometallurgical processes
• Optimize existing chemical leaching, precipitation, electrorefining, and smelting operations
• Design and execute lab experiments and scale them up to pilot and production level
• Conduct material analysis using tools such as ICP, XRF, AAS, SEM/EDS, or fire assay
• Innovate sustainable and cost-effective solutions to improve recovery yield and purity
• Document findings, draft technical reports, and contribute to patent filings
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and EHS teams to integrate R&D innovations
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations
• Stay informed on industry trends, technologies, and regulatory updates

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field
• 2–5+ years of R&D experience in metal refining or recycling, preferably with precious metals
• Strong knowledge of chemical recovery processes and industrial metallurgy
• Experience with lab-scale process development and analytical instruments
• Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills
• Knowledge of environmental compliance and sustainability practices in metals recovery is a plus
